SPORTING FACILITIES IN FORTON
FORTON BOWLING CLUB
The crown green is now one of the
best in the north of Lancashire, and it has been used for county matches.
It is located adjacent to the village playing field, and during the winter of
2000/2001 the shared pavilion has been rebuilt. To enquire about membership
ring 01524-791634 -- new members are always made welcome.

CLUB
The club possesses a beautiful
ground on the edge of the village, which won a premier award in Lancashire's
Best Kept Village Competition in the year 2002. The teams (3 senior, 3
